Ujezd and Petřín Hill

In Malá Strana, at the bottom of the Petřín Hill, you can find a row of gorgeous cherry trees located right next to the tram stop Ujezd. The trees blossom here in an array of pink and white.

Petřín Hill is one of the largest parks and recreational grounds in the city centre, recognisable by its sloping hill and the smaller version of the Eiffel Tower on the top. Its panoramic views over the city make this a popular spot for locals and tourists throughout the year. The hill is famous for its fruit orchards, which are in full bloom during spring. There are approximately 2,100 fruit trees in this garden.

Vojan Garden

This garden is beautiful year around and is pretty undiscovered by mainstream tourists. It especially comes to life in the Spring when its magnolia trees bloom spectacularly. This often happens around the end of March. The cherry blossom trees that line the pathways in the middle of the garden bloom at the beginning of April.

Wallenstein Garden

The Wallenstein Garden is part of the Czech Senate and it features beautifully landscaped Baroque style gardens, a large fountain with a pond, swimming Koi fish, peacocks, an artificial cave with stalactites and a stunning pavilion with painted frescoes. During the summer months, this is a very peaceful spot, a favorite with the locals and a popular venue for concerts, theatrical performances and wedding couples for photo shoots. However in the Spring, it’s main attraction are the blooming white and pink magnolia trees.

Stromovka

A massive 100 hectares, Stromovka was once a royal hunting ground area and is now affectionately known as “Prague’s Central Park.” In Stromovka, pink cherry trees can be found by the main lake that is located in the middle of the park, and all around.

Riegrovy Sady

The park’s main call to fame is the slanted large green field that looks directly over Prague Castle and the city skyline in the distance. If you’re looking for a spectacular sunset view in Prague, it doesn’t get much better than this.

This Baroque castle surrounded by pretty gardens and a vineyard is closed during wintertime. It opens in April when it’s cherry trees are in full bloom.
